Chamisa was an existing self-storage and mobile home park operating in the Village of Los Ranchos. With partner Brent Freeze, Adam Trubow and Brent formed “Boom Capital” for the acquisition and stabilization of the property. The property was a distressed asset from an owner who was in trouble after acquiring the property through owner financing. The property was stabilized and the self-storage occupancy level experienced double digit growth in two years. The mobile home park saw significant repairs and the completion of deferred maintenance that was lacking. Bank of The Rio Grande provided the initial financing of the property.
